The gallery presents mainly Czech fine art of the 19th and 21st centuries. In addition to art collections, the gallery focuses primarily on contemporary Czech art and modern architecture, which has a significant presence in Zlín. The gallery organizes important meetings of artists such as the alternating triennials: New Zlín Salon, Prostor Zlín and Zlín Youth Salon.
