You will feel the history as soon as you arrive at the museum in Velké Karlovice, as it is housed in a former merchant’s house from the beginning of the 19th century, built in the folk Baroque style. Inside you will find a kitchen equipped with original furniture and the permanent exhibition includes a Karlovice folk costume, a nativity scene, a collection of works by local folk carvers and the products of two local glassworks, which disappeared before the war.
