The Ride of the Kings – Kunovice

The Ride of the Kings is held in Kunovice every two years in July. The Kunovice Ride of the Kings is specific for its authentic horse decoration and colourful costumes. A procession of handsome young men in costumes, proudly riding their adorned horses, always sets off from the Manor House (Panský dvůr). They enliven the parade with their witty invocations focusing on recent events in the town or witty comments on current affairs or on other participants in the parade. The ride also includes a regional parade of children’s verbuňk dancing and musical performances by local bands.
