The festival held in Vizovice every August brings two days full of music, performances of top musicians and bands of various genres. The event was founded in 1967 as a celebration of the region’s most important fruit – plums and the delicacies made from them, including Wallachian slivovitz. The internationally renowned plum-dumpling eating competition is the traditional highlight of the festival.
