The Renaissance building with its arcaded courtyard was created in the 16th century by rebuilding the original medieval fortress. The gems here include the rare balustrade railings. The castle features a large English park with many rare plants and trees. In the château you can also visit the exposition of the Museum of the Wallachia region.
